Stay cozy by the fire pit or hit the trails at Northfield Mountain during Northfield's Annual Winter Weekend from February 13 to 15! Enjoy a vintage tractor parade, arts and crafts, the annual "Mountain Feast," and much more. There’s winter fun for everyone in Northfield this weekend!

Friday February 13th

Start your weekend by making a Valentine at the Dickinson Memorial Library from 10-5, or make a last-minute card on Saturday from 10-3. Afterwards, Cameron’s Winery & The Back Room Brewing CO. are hosting a Valentine’s Dinner at 6. Think crispy chicken, whipped potatoes, biscuits, gravy, winter salad… yum! Limited seating is available for the Valentine’s Dinner, so call ahead for tickets (413) 225-3420

Saturday February 14th

Looking to continue your New Year’s resolution and get a quick, brisk 5K in this year? Northfield’s February Freeze 5K - only $5 per runner $10 max per family - begins at 105 Main Street at 9:00 a.m.

Looking for other nearby, maybe slightly more low-key, activities? Downtown is filled with fun on Saturday, with Create Your Own Pinecone Bird Feeders at Kidders Hardware Store from 9-12, Free Hot Chocolate Bar at Mim’s Market from 10-2, and Valentine Cookie Decorating and Hot Chocolate at Northfield Food Mart from 11-5. In between your cookies and hot chocolate, make sure to step outside at 10:00 a.m. for Northfield’s inaugural Spreading Love Tractor Parade, a mobile celebration of Northfield’s agricultural heritage, starting at the Trinitarian Church.

Feeling artsy after making a Valentine, and want to see some true talent in action? Tom White is holding an open studio at 205 Winchester Road, where he’ll be holding pottery wheel throwing demos from 10-3. His works also make great gifts!

There’s three more culinary opportunities on Saturday, with the marquee Mountain Feast at Northfield Mountain. There’s two seatings, from 1-2 and from 2-3. With a Pig Roast by the Northfield VFW Post 9874, plenty of sides, beer from The Brewery at 4 Star Farms and The Back Room Brewing Company, wine from Cameron’s Winery, live music, warming fire, and games, you won’t want to miss this authentically Northfield experience. Alongside The Mountain Feast, check out the Junior Firefighters Chili Cookoff at the Senior Center at 10:30 and the All Church and Community Cookie Swap at the Trinitarian Church at 1:30.

Cap off your day with sledding and a bonfire at Northfield Golf Course from noon to 3, and a dodgeball tournament at the Northfield Elementary Gym at 6pm.
