34th Annual Old Deerfield Painting Group Exhibition

Weather permitting, our members set up their easels in the countryside, villages ad hill towns of the area. This year's theme - "Reflections." Taken literally, the image migh include a fgure and perspective of that same figure viewed in a mirror. A still life might be doubled if it is arranged on a polished surface. A landscape can appear to be flipped on its head if it's reflected in a body of water. Figuratively, the theme could be applied to a thoughtful process of recollection. Either way, the "reflection" expands upon the original subject. And simply by viewing and thinking about these paintings you expand on the paintings b your reflections or interactions. Exhibit on display at the Deerfield Community Center. Opening reception Sunday, August 23th from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.
