Graveyards and Gravestones

Immerse yourself in the world of graveyards and gravestones at this day-long special event, which is included with general admission to Historic Deerfield. Activities include:   • A gravestone carving demonstration with Karin Sprague from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hall Tavern  • Guided afternoon tours of the gravestone art of Solomon Ashley, starting at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. at Hall Tavern  • Stones and Bones, a drop-in family program at the History Workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
