Renegade Klezmer with Jason Ditzian - In this two-hour workshop for musicians of all levels, Jason will discuss his approach to klezmer and “Jewish music” in general. Her work blends traditional Chinese instrumentation with electronic soundscapes, bringing the ancient pipa into concert halls, contemporary stages, and multimedia environments. www.minqimusic.com 6pm - Guachinangos (NYC) features members from diverse cultural backgrounds. The band fuses Mexican son jarocho with Colombian cumbia and other Latin American rhythms.
