Monte's March: Making Moves

WRSI - 93.9 The River’s Monte Belmonte will be leading his annual march against hunger through the Pioneer Valley during his Monte’s March event. Joined by Congressman Jim McGovern and a number of supporters, Monte will push a shopping cart 43 miles from Springfield to Greenfield over the course of two days to raise awareness about food insecurity in our region and funds for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Listeners are encouraged to make monetary donations.

Hours: November 21, 2022 from 7am until about 2pm will be the first day of walking. Tuesday's March begins at the corner of Pleasant St. and Hampton Ave. near WRSI the River (15 Hampton Ave) at 7am and ends at Hawkes & Reed about 5pm.
