Suggested donation $10-20 (nobody turned away) RAIN DATE: FRIDAY AUGUST 4  Led by clarinetist Jason Ditzian, Myrtle St. Klezmer is an ecstatic, experimental exploration into the past, present & future of Klezmer, an instrumental musical tradition of the Ashkenazi Jews of Central and Eastern Europe. As the leader of the iconic San Francisco-based klezmer ensemble, Kugelplex for over 20 years, Ditzian collaborated with Joan Baez, the Oakland Symphony, the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Frank London, Linda Tillery, and many others. Featuring Myk Freedman (guitar); Jesse Olsen Bay (percussion, bouzouki, bass, guitar, vocals), Doug Plavin (percussion), Dan Baker (Tuba) and Marié Abe (accordion).
